After swooping in and taking B-town by storm in Walt Disney’s first ever Bollywood project Khoobsurat, Fawad Khan is all set for his next big screen appearance in his second film ‘Battle of Bittora’ opposite Sonam Kapoor.
Based on an Indian bestselling novel, ‘Battle of Bittora’ Bittora’ depicts the story of a 25 year old Jinni who lives in Mumbai working her skills as an animator and living a carefree, independent life until things start to take a turn.
Her imperious grandmother show ups and persuades Jinni to drop everything and take part in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections held in their monotonous hometown, Bittora.
Unfortunately, her dominant opposition turns out to be Zain Altaf Khan, with whom Jinni shares an intimate but unfortunate love history.
Accrding to Indian media, Anil Kapoor’s entertainment company, Antila Ventures has purchased the rights to adapt the novel into a movie which will be produced by his younger daughter, Rhea Kapoor.
The release date for the movie hasn’t been decided yet but after the success of Khoobsurat, expectation from Fawad Khan are higher than before.
