Last seen in Karan Johar’s blockbuster, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, the power couple, Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, are all set to make an appearance together onscreen after 14 long years.
The Bachchans will be playing themselves, in a cameo appearance, in R. Balki’s upcoming rom com. What’s more is that the iconic scene, featuring the couple, will be shot in their own Juhu mansion in Jalsa.

The lead couple in the rom com will be played by the Gunday actor, Arjun Kapoor and the ravishing Kareena Kapoor Khan. While Arjun Kapoor will be playing the part of a stay-at-home husband, the leading lady will be playing his corporate wife.
The golden couple, however, will not be playing the part of either of the leading star’s parents or their mentors. They will be playing themselves, as the superstar couple that they are in real life, in just one scene.

However, R. Balki has claimed that the scene will not be a blink and miss appearance for the couple but will actually be critical to the plot of the movie. The scene might just entail a two day shoot, but it will most definitely be the highlight of the movie.
Everyone has missed the graceful couple since their strong appearance as Raichands 14 years ago and therefore, the hype surrounding their next onscreen presence is more than justified.

Amitabh Bachchan has worked with R. Balki thrice previously and out of these the two projects, Cheeni Kum and Paa, were an absolute hit.
