Ex-Pakistani, singer and maestro composer Adnan Sami Khan has made a name for his self in the music industry. He has garnered millions of fans from across the world with superhit tracks such as ‘Lift Karade’ and ‘Kabhi Toh Nazar Mila De’. Khan has recently acquired an Indian citizenship and is definitely overjoyed at becoming a citizen of Pakistan’s neighboring country.

In a recent interview with Indian media outlet, Spotboye, he expressed his views about visiting his homeland, Pakistan, Khan seems eager to do so. He does not feel threatened as he believes no one can stop him from doing so. But he would need a visa to come back to Pakistan now, wouldn’t he?!

Here’s what he retorted when asked about visiting Pakistan!

“Why not? It’s God’s land. We all have the right to visit places made by God. These boundaries are man-made.”

What is more, he also expressed his feelings on acquiring citizenship. He mentioned,

“It feels lovely and there is a sense of peace. Getting an Indian citizenship is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me!”

What is more, not many are aware but the singer shares his Birthday with India’s Independence Day which is the 15th of August. Khan truly believes it was all God’s sign and this is how it was meant to be for him.

“I have taken everything as a sign. Right from my birth date which falls on August 15 to the Pakistani Government not renewing my passport, everything signalled towards the fact that I should become an Indian.”
