Spikes Asia festival of creativity, a renowned creative communications event, is reported to receive an outstanding total of  4,832 entries from 20 countries.

There are 16 different categories in which the participating countries have pledged their involvement. The outdoor category has received around  762 entries whereas the creative effectiveness category accounts for the least number of entries.

Serving as a collaborative platform between Cannes Lions ad Haymarket, the festival aims to provide the growing creative industry participants with a platform to exchange visions and ideas.

With this aim in mind, the illustrious event will take place in Singapore from 15th to 17th September 2012, where an esteemed jury  of 78 industry practitioners will honor the event.  Tham Khai Meng, Worldwide Chief Creative Officer of Ogilvy & Mather and Chairman of Ogily’s Worldwide Creative Council, will lead the prestigious team of these professionals.

“The winning work which will drive inspiration and push the industry forward, will not only have an impact at a regional level, but also globally. We eagerly look forward to the results of Spikes 2013,” Philip Thomas, CEO of Lions Festivals, said while expressing his enthusiasm and excitement for the event.

For Pakistan, the highlight of the event is Anosha Nimra Shahab, a student of BS Media Studies at the Institute of Business Management (IoBM),  who has been selected to attend the festival.
