Spring is in the air! Or so it seems!

Pepsi Pakistan recently did an OOH installation for its new ‘Bahar-e-Aman’ campaign in honor of the glorious season of spring in Lahore – the cultural hub of Northern Punjab.Cheating_1

The OOH boasts the tagline ‘Live Spring Abhi’ following Pepsi’s cricket centric promotional campaign ‘Live It Abhi’.

This is all very well, but wait; the seasonal commemoration bears uncanny resemblance to a campaign by its sworn enemy – Coca Cola.

Executed by their OOH agnecy, Kinetic, last year Coke created its own OOH in Lahore to celebrate the season of joy, ‘Jashan-e-Baharan‘.

Pepsi may not get points for originality but it definitely deserves accolades for atleast making an effort to beautify the surroundings in Lahore.

Well, here is a shout-out for both cola-brands from Karachi – “We Are Still Wating to Celebrate Spring Here!”
