India’s most popular comedy show, The Kapil Sharma Show is once again in the limelight but for all the wrong reason. The nursing staff from various hospitals in India have filed an official complaint against the Kapil Sharma and the show’s producer for allegedly portraying nurses in a “vulgar” manner on his comedy show.

The nurses have decided to go to cops and file a defamation case against the show. They also raised slogans against Navjot Singh Sidhu for being part of the show. “We as a community expected that Sidhu would not support this nonsense and such vulgar jokes. Nurses have been objectified on the show since its beginning,”
The show’s ensemble cast includes a dumb nurse in revealing outfits played by Bigg Boss contestant, Rochelle Rao.

Reacting to the allegations made by the nurses, Kiku says, “It is all in good humour. I don’t think anyone should take it personally. We are not trying to make fun of any profession. Every character is part of some profession, and if people from every profession start objecting and protesting, then there will be no end.”
But as they say, every publicity is good publicity, Sharma was named the most popular TV personality days after the staged protest in Amritsar, India. In the survey titled ‘Ormax Characters India Loves‘, Kapil has topped the list for his latest small screen venture ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’.
