Maula Jatt, the 1979  hit classic Pakistani Punjabi film, is now set to be released in Blu-ray and 3D technology.

Substantiated by Sarwar Bhatti, producer of the movie. “The film is in the process of being re-mastered in London and is going to cost an estimated Rs4 million to Rs5 million,” said Bhatti.

Maula Jatt was enjoyed by all the audiences and was screened in a Lahore cinema for 6 years in 1980’s. It became Lollywood’s first ever unofficial film franchise with sequels such as Maula Jatt Te Noori Natt and Maula Jatt in London. Due to its tremendous success, Bilal Lashari, the record breaking director of ‘Waar’ is looking forward for a remake of Maula Jatt as his upcoming project.
