“The two will be in Hyderabad on October 8, and will arrive in Mumbai the following day. Salman and Virat, who are avid fans of the DJ duo and have shown support to them on Twitter for the top 100 DJs poll, have planned a private party with them. They will try their hand at DJing too,” says a report on Indian website, Mid-day.
Conforming the classy collaboration, the DJ duo said, “We are grateful that two of the biggest celebrities from India, Salman and Virat, have shown support for our music.

Weren’t we all waiting for Amjad Sabri’s debut performance in Coke Studio 9? The late qawwali maestro’s much-awaited first and last CS performance “Aj Rang Hai” is out in the final episode of the musical show.
Earlier when the promo “Ah Rahe Haq K Shaheedo“ of Coke Studio 9 was released, Sabri’s glimpse in the tune moved hearts and reduced people to tears.
Just a few days before his assassination, Sabri and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan teamed up to sing the evergreen qawwali of Amir Khusro, Aj Rang Hai.
The duo aimed to create the magic of Ghulam Farid Sabri and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, who performed this same Kalaam together at a dargah 40 years back.
While Amjad Sabri will take place of his father, Rahat will replace his uncle and we bet it will be the ultimate musical recitation in the history of Coke Studio.
During the recording in May, the late Amjad Sabri had talked about his performance and stated, “About 40 years ago, my father and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan read this kalaam at a dargah in Karachi and 40 years later, Rahat and I are reading it again (on Coke Studio Season 9).”
It is unfortunate that while the whole world will be witnessing Sabri’s rendition on Coke Studio this Friday, the classical guru will not be amongst us to see the memorable Sufi symphony.
“The tragic death of Amjad Sabri is a huge national loss. In spite of his great success nationally and internationally, he was a gentle and humble person, treasured and respected by everyone who met him,” Coke Studio producers, Strings said in a statement.
Although Sabri never made an appearance in past seasons of Coke Studio, he helped Atif Aslam in Tajdar- e- Haram, performed in Season 8 last year. The tune is the most watched video on YouTube.

The wait is finally over for Pakistan’s fast-pace bowler, Muhammad Amir, who will finally bring his better-half home, as his wedding ceremonies start from today 19th September.
The 24-year old tied the knot with his wife, Nargis, a British nationalist two years ago. The ceremonies will continue till 21st September, and will take place in Lahore.
Muhammad Amir will get one entire day to spend with his newly wedded wife before he flys out the next to catch his flight to UAE to prepare for Pakistan vs West Indies series, which is to start 23rd September.
Amir told The Express Tribune, after getting hitched in 2014, “I felt it was the right time for me to get into a relationship. One has to get a life partner at some stage of life, so I decided to do it now. I didn’t feel the need to wait any longer.”

Loaded and heavy vehicles will not be allowed to travel on Karachi’s Shahrah-e-Faisal during 7am to 11pm, announced the traffic police on Monday, Geo News reports.
A traffic police spokesperson said that the decision was undertaken to ensure a smooth flow of traffic on Shahrah-e-Faisal.
Previously it was announced that rickshaws will also be banned on the road- the ban was then suspended for a month. According to DIG Traffic Ameer Sheikh, a survey will be conducted during this time period, to decide whether rickshaws should be allowed to travel on the road.
“Bus-stop boards and other signboards will also hang at different places of this track in a few days,” he said.
DIG Traffic Ameer Sheikh had stated that a new rule will be implemented from September 26th , banning three passengers from riding motorbikes on the Shahrah-e-Faisal road.
A new traffic plan was implemented earlier this month, for Shahrah-e-Faisal with a total of 132 traffic policemen who are deployed on the road to manage traffic. The special traffic force is called the Shahrah-e-Faisal Force.
The police force will be having 8 lifters and 44 motorbikes, DIG Traffic said. The policemen will be operating in two shifts while those who disrupt traffic will be charged with anti-terrorism laws.

After a lackluster presentation by Sony at E3 2016 back in June, Sony promised a lot of things coming into their September 7th PlayStation event.
These promises came after Microsoft’s E3 dominance, and their surprise announcement of Project Scorpio, an advanced, more powerful version of the Xbox One. The new console took over the gaming market with next level with better graphics, better resolution, increased performance and better gaming experience.
This E3 presentation showed that Microsoft wanted to recapture the market which had been utterly dominated by Sony’s PlayStation 4, which has a higher number of units sold across all continents. Sony, on the other hand, remained quiet about their secret console, being called ‘Neo’ while everyone wondered what they were up to.
All eyes were on Sony as to how they would respond to Microsoft’s major announcement in the gaming community. It was expected of them to make a lot of announcements, possibly releasing some gaming products as well.
PlayStation 4 Slim: Not Discreet Enough
The first product they announced was the PlayStation 4 Slim, continuing their life-long tradition of releasing “Slim” versions of their stock consoles, dating back from the very first PlayStation.
This announcement was expected, the showcase of the console was marred by the incident that 2 weeks prior to the event, a customer was sold this PS4 Slim secretively, and he went on to leak the pictures of the console’s designs and features, as well as videos of the console’s functioning.
There was no surprise at hand; the console looked exactly as the leaked photographs. Some people disliked the matte finish console, as it didn’t look as sleek and beautiful as the astonishing parallelogram design the stock PS4 had.
However, most people weren’t too bothered by it. We knew almost every detail about the upcoming hardware revamp of the PlayStation 4 before the event because the systems were already out in the wild.
PlayStation 4 Pro: Solution to a Problem No One Had
Now, everyone was expecting an announcement, Sony wanted a head start, they wanted to be early and get the benefit ahead of Microsoft’s release.
They went ahead and released the PlayStation 4 Pro (PlayStation Neo) to the mass audience. But there seemed to be a mass confusion about what the console actually does.
The PlayStation Pro 4 is a more powerful system that will make your games look better, but not all of them. Some will look better on 4K television sets, while other games will be suitable for televisions that support HDR.

People were expecting a console that would indeed have a 4K HDR feature, but also give an increased frame-rate output that was required, as the earlier releases of PS4 and Xbox One were tremendously inferior to PC gaming aspects.
As of now, the PS4 Pro has given people no incentive to buy it, a solution for a problem that didn’t exist. Even though the 4K feature is admirable, it is appealing towards a very low demographic that owns a 4K Screen.
Most of these features also depend on game developers. Games that run in 4K natively will be exceedingly rare on the PlayStation 4 Pro, and it sounds like many games will give you a choice of running the game at 60fps or enjoying more graphical effects.
It’s up to developers to decide how they’d like to leverage the power of the PlayStation 4 Pro, which means options will differ from game to game.
So outside of Sony saying “there is more power and your games will look better” in a very general way, there isn’t really an easy to understand what upgrade that will be seen in a wide variety of games, and we’re already seeing some confusion about which games are offering what resolutions and frame rates.
With a clocked up GPU and not much else, it is also deemed to be much less in power than the Xbox Project Scorpio, hence raising, even more, questions about the power of the console.
4K Blu-Ray Player?
There are a limited number of ways to get 4K content on your shiny new 4K television, and, due to the aforementioned nature of streaming 4K content, the best way to show off what your television can do is to buy your 4K content physically. It’s the most effective way to demo your screen while watching the video.
Sony Has Lost the Power Race?
Microsoft has to be feeling pretty good right now. The goal of Project Scorpio, the higher end Xbox One coming next year, was always to make sure Microsoft had the most powerful console. Now everyone knows that Microsoft will beat the PlayStation 4 Pro in terms of sheer power, even though Sony has a head start of about a year.

Problems will be faced by Microsoft as well, but in a year more people will purchase 4K displays. They’ll have a system with more powerful hardware so the advantages will likely be both more uniform and easier to describe, and we already know the Scorpio will feature a drive that’s ready for 4K Blu-rays.
Sony had a good show in some ways, its main competitor felt comfortable touting its advantage in power, and the graphical gains were hard to see or understand unless you’re already pretty technically savvy.
Sony had good news for us, but it stumbled badly trying to communicate it. Microsoft will have a number of advantages that will help the Scorpio’s eventual event avoid many of these issues.

Finance Minister, Ishaq Dar has announced that French automakers, Renault and Peugeot are interested in investing in Pakistan’s automotive industry to expand the vehicle market.
This announcement came after an official meeting with the representatives of both French companies held on Wednesday 14th September, in Paris. During the meeting, the car makers were given a brief about the potential the automotive sector in Pakistan holds.
According to the message received by the French officials, the opportunity holds attractive incentives and concessions, which are good enough to attract investors. During the meet, Dar emphasized on the improvement in the local market over the last 3-years, as the economic condition of the country has stabilized.
The improved economy is raising the demand for foreign cars, which means good business for carmakers who are looking to experiment in the markets. As a result, Senior executives representing Renault and Peugeot praised Pakistan’s economy turnaround and expressed their interest in investing in the automotive sector.
Previously, Cheif Executive Officer of Engineering Development Board, Tariq Ejaz Chaudhary told local media European manufacturer, Volkswagen, is also interested followed by other foreign companies to invest after the renewal of the auto policy.
He also added that companies are concerned by Japanese imports, making it one of the biggest concerns that standing in the way of foreign companies from entering the local markets.

DIG Traffic Ameer Shaikh had previously announced a ban on rickshaws and heavy vehicles to travel on the Shahrah-e-Faisal Road on Thursday. However, DIG Traffic has now suspended the ban on rickshaws for the month, on Friday, reports ARY News.
A ban was imposed on the travel of both auto rickshaws and heavy vehicles on the Shahrah-e-Faisal road because it hinders the flow of traffic as Shahrah-e-Faisal is an important route that links the entire city to the airport. Hurdles and slow traffic flow on Shahrah-e-Faisal can cause major flight delays.
The ban on rickshaws, however, received a lot of negative criticism and complaints from the general public and therefore the ban has been suspended for the time being, said a traffic police officer.
A survey will be carried out by the traffic police and a new future strategy will be devised soon. Traffic Police Karachi had decided to block heavy vehicles such as trucks on the Shahrah-e-Faisal to maintain the right flow of traffic on the road.
DIG Ameer Shiekh stated that Shahrah-e-Faisal is a fast moving track, however, due to rickshaws, heavy vehicles, and water tankers, movement of traffic gets extremely slow. Shaikh added that the traffic police had monitored the area for over two months and then made the decision to impose a ban.
As per a senior traffic police official, rickshaw drivers do not abide by the traffic laws and regulations “and because of this, people of Karachi face traffic jams on Shahrah-e-Faisal”.
The traffic police is also making motorcycle and bus lanes so as to enable smooth traffic flow on the road, “Bus-stop boards and other signboards will also hang at different places of this track in a few days,” he added.
A vehicle that lies under the barred category, if seen on the roads, will be seized by the traffic police and taken into custody, said the traffic police order.
DIG Shaikh further added that a new traffic plan and strategy will be executed from Monday, September 19th.
A new traffic plan was implemented earlier this month, for Shahrah-e-Faisal with a total of 132 traffic policemen who are deployed on the road to manage traffic. The special traffic force is called the Shahrah-e-Faisal Force.
