YouTube announced that YouTube Shorts is now averaging over 70 billion daily views. Moreover, creators are embracing multiformat approaches in order to explore new genres and audiences. Moving forward, we anticipate the ongoing expansion of multiformat content, resulting in a more varied and interesting range of content than ever.”

Music is also a type of content that is popular on YouTube. In 2023, YouTube Music and YouTube Premium, a paid membership, enhanced the viewing experience with ad-free content, offline and background play providing an immersive music experience.

In keeping with this, artists continue to broaden their horizons through multiformat, allowing their audiences to learn more about them via a variety of format types. Our education system is something that certainly needs more and more improvement with each passing day. No matter which grade you are in, there are parts of our system so hard-coded, it is difficult for a student to thrive in that environment. Cheating is a major part of our education system since it can be seen being done by students every year. Whether the students are giving Matric papers or Intermediate board papers, copying and cheating is a common occurrence in every paper.

However, not only news regarding our education system can be considered adverse. In fact, it seems that Sindh’s Intermediate curriculum is going through another change. According to sources, four new subjects are going to be added to the Sindh Intermediate curriculum, and these are sure to bring more people to the system.

Sindh Intermediate With Quality Education

Of course, it is important to make sure that students are learning everything they can. This also means teaching subjects that are far apart from the usual science-related or mathematics related ones. That said, the four new subjects being added to the Intermediate curriculum are,

Pre-nursing
Pre-pharmacy
Medical Technology
Physical Education

The first two subjects can equip students with knowledge that can help them select fields if they intend to pursue the medical sciences. Additionally, medical technology is a subject that can be useful to those who intend to pursue technical degrees in the medical science field. Lastly, physical education or P.E, is a good skill to equip students with who intend to pursue sports as a career.

Education System Improving

The addition of these subjects tells us of the increasing diversity of our Intermediate education system. It also tells us that we are moving away from the conventional ‘Doctor, Engineer’ mindset that a lot of people from the last three decades have emphasized upon. Those professions are essential but they are not the only ones out there worth exploring.

A student should be allowed to learn and study whichever area they have an interest in and these subjects can help them explore their interests better. That said, we hope these subjects bring a plethora of students to these fields as talent must not go unrewarded anywhere.

Apple iPhones are known to survive quite a lot of drop tests when they are thrown from high places. Even if they hit the ground with force, many people are expecting it to turn on and keep running. A while back, an iPhone was discovered at the bottom of a lake after being submerged for six months! However, after drying it out and testing it, the phone managed to turn on. It almost feels like Nokia has been replaced by Apple in terms of smartphone durability.

In recent news, it seems that an iPhone fell from a plane! Yes, the door plug on the plane blew out and the iPhone was lost to the wind. It fell more than 16,000 feet and landed within a grasslands region. Upon being found by a local, it was functioning perfectly, with the airplane mode turned on and half battery remaining. This sounds like quite an achievement for the company in terms of durability, on a whole other level!

The Logic Behind iPhone Survival

Of course, when we talk about how exactly did the phone survive, we must turn to the laws of Physics. When the iPhone was falling from that height, eventually it reached a point when it attained terminal velocity. This means that it can’t accelerate any faster due to the effect of air resistance. Thus, its possible for a phone to survive in such a condition.

We can assume that the iPhone landed in either a patch of soft grass or on damp ground. In such a case, we can say that the phone had more than an inch of cushion, letting it land in a more safer way than it would have on concrete. When the phone was found, there were barely any scratches on it and it was working without a hitch.

Apple Setting Standards

This event certainly sets the standards of the company quite high, as their phone survived a 16,000 feet drop. We don’t think any other phone has managed to survive what this iPhone has. Other companies will have to step up their game in terms of durability if they intend to compete well. We can surely see some brands deliberately dropping their phones from planes to see if they survive, as a way to counter the competition.

Nadir Ali asked the scholar, whether Islam permits getting tattoos or irreversible body modifications given that a Muslim has to pray with them.
