Imad Wasim suggested that Mohammad Rizwan should be prepared to adapt if asked to bat lower in the order as Babar Azam did in the New Zealand series.

While she is calling out the fashion shows in Pakistan, the same designer doesn’t bat an eye at foreign fashion shows where women are made to wear revealing clothes.

He further noted the designer’s efforts to spread awareness on the Palestinian matter, however, failed to raise her voice on subjective issues in Pakistan. While discussing the matter, Dr Affan further added, that in Pakistan every other person is Maria B. as people here have forgotten to match their words with their actions, be it politicians or government or private sectors.

Siddharth Anand’s film Fighter premiered in theaters on Indian Republic Day. While the movie has achieved success at the box office, surpassing the Rs 150 crore milestone, its earnings fall short in comparison to its budget. The director has attributed the slow start to the film’s exploration of a unique and uncharted territory.

Here’s what he had to say in his latest interview regarding the sluggish achievement of the movie.

‘Fighter is a huge leap. As filmmakers do this in the country, and the kind of genre it is. It’s a space that is unexplored and new. It has no reference point for the audience, which means what they are seeing is a little, umm okay! Such big stars? A commercial director, accha ye planes kya kar rahi hai. I am like is this my film, I don’t know this.”

”If you realize, there is a huge percentage of our country. I would say 90 percent who have not flown in planes! Who has not been to an airport? So how do you expect them to know what’s happening in the air?” he added.

“This is my dissection. They felt like this was a little alien. How many percent of Indians? I mean this is a variation, for an academic discussion, how many of them have a passport? How many traveled in a plane? You are talking about the plane’s action. They have not understood what is the exhilaration that they are supposed to feel the action?”

Public’s Criticism Of Anand’s Statement 

Siddharth Anand is under scrutiny for his explanation regarding the box office performance of Fighter. In response, a Twitter user criticized the director by comparing it to his 2023 blockbuster “Pathaan,” implying that the success of the latter was due to a large portion of the Indian audience being likened to RAW agents. “Pathaan” starred Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role as a spy.
