Babar Azam joined Multan Sultans skipper Mohammad Rizwan, who is the only other batter to achieve this feat. Rizwan amassed 500 runs in 2021, followed by 546 runs in 2022 and 550 runs in 2023.

“No, these [information] are not true at all. These are absolutely untrue and are false info,” he said during an interview with a Bangladeshi newspaper.

“He stayed because of his emotion [the emotional bond that he had created with the Barishal team members], not just because of money. Was Wasim Akram with the team? I know how much he [Miller] got paid. So, these claims are not true,” he added.

The Chairman of the Shariah Board Pakistan, Sheikh Al-Hadith Professor Dr. Mufti Muhammad Zafar Iqbal Jalali, announced the fixed rates for Sadaqah-e-Fitr or Fitrana and Fidya for Ramadan 2024. According to the announcement made on Thursday, the minimum amount for Sadaqah-e-Fitr and Fidya due to health reasons is set at Rs300 per person, roughly equivalent to two kilograms of wheat flour. Dr. Jalali emphasized the importance of philanthropy, urging affluent individuals to contribute in accordance with their financial capacity.

The values are set at Rs600 for oats, Rs2,400 for dates, and Rs4,400 for raisins. Additionally, Dr. Jalali outlined the Fidya rates for fasting the entire month of Ramadan, which range from Rs9,000 to Rs132,000 depending on the circumstances. He clarified that Fidya is intended for individuals who are chronically ill or unable to fast with no prospect of recovery. Travelers and those temporarily unable to fast are obligated to make up for missed fasts, as Fidya cannot substitute for abstaining from fasting.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Poverty Alleviation and Social Security set the minimum amount for Zakat at Rs135,179 this year. Zakat will be applicable on savings accounts or profit and loss sharing accounts with a balance of Rs135,179 or more, with individuals meeting this criteria liable to pay 2.5% Zakat on their total account balance.

“Have you seen the [condition of] roof of the Gaddafi Stadium that they were showing with the drone? We can’t even control the three [stadiums] we have.”

The meetup featured a detailed presentation by Muzaffar Hussain, Head of Overseas Marketing of JNM Leather Safety Gloves Industries. A Verified Seller on Alibaba.com, Hussain recounted his rise to success on the platform, offering attendees practical advice and strategies from his personal experience.

Hussain spoke of the trust he placed in Alibaba.com, which has been instrumental in his e-commerce achievements. After joining the platform in 2014, he quickly secured significant orders from overseas markets such as South Korea, which led to a 58% year-on-year revenue increase that year. JNM Leather Safety Gloves Industries has since become a notable name in the leather sector in Sialkot.

Hussain encouraged other businesses to join Alibaba.com as Verified Supplier members and realize their potential for growth in the international market.

Mike Hesson, the head coach of Islamabad United, has weighed in on the talent and potential of hard-hitting batter Azam Khan.

Hesson called the young batter a special talent but also pointed out that he is not a finished product yet and there is a lot of work that needs to be done.

The former New Zealand coach commended the exceptional abilities of Azam Khan but emphasized that the young cricketer still has room for improvement.

“Azam [Khan] is a special talent. But there is more work to be done since he is still not a finished product. If he brings more consistency, every team in the world will pick him,” Hesson said while talking to a local news channel.

Hesson acknowledged Azam’s versatility in attacking both spinners and pacers, highlighting his unique skill set.

“He can attack both spinners and pacers. He has the ability that very few have,” he said.

While expressing his admiration for the cricketing talent in Pakistan, Hesson also noted the formidable spin-bowling talent showcased in the PSL. He suggested that Pakistan should focus on nurturing power hitters to enhance their T20 cricketing arsenal.

“I am very impressed with the cricketing talent in Pakistan. The spin bowling talent in the PSL is quite formidable. Pakistan need to work a little harder at power hitters,” he added.

Missing Kids Return Home After Leaving ‘Voluntarily’

Two siblings, who left their home in the late hours of Tuesday night, have been recovered safely in Karachi. The news of missing siblings took social media by storm after the family had posted a message on social media. While seeking assistance from the public to locate and bring back the children who disappeared from outside their residence in the vicinity of North Nazimabad.

After the kids were found, it was revealed by the Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Central Zeeshan Siddiqui that, according to the statements provided by the 12-year-old girl and the 11-year-old boy, they voluntarily left home on their own accord. The videos of the kid’s statement later went viral on social media where they shared that they left their house voluntarily due to mistreatment from their maternal side of the family.

“We left home voluntarily. We stayed the night at our uncle and aunt’s residence. Our maternal grandmother and aunt subjected us to verbal abuse and assigned cleaning tasks,” he explained.

“Upon encountering our uncle and aunt, we sought refuge with them, and they brought us to their home,” he further stated.

The Mother Of The Children Speaks Up About Misinformation 

As soon as the kid’s statement went viral on the news outlets, the mother of the kids recorded and shared a message. While urging the media outlets to stop spreading false news. According to her, the whole case has been given a very different perspective as she shared her disappointment with the media outlets for not verifying the kid’s statement from the family.

“My kids were missing from the night and were found the next day. Nobody knows what happened to them. No one from the authorities asked the family about the incident and if you notice tone of the kids, it’s like someone urged them to make the specific statement.” She noted in her video.

While talking about the details of their family dynamics, the mother of the 12-year-old girl and the 11-year-old boy said that the kids are very well taken care of. Meanwhile, by no means kids receive any sort of mistreatment at my parent’s house.

“We have a maid at our house. Thankfully my siblings and my family take very good care of the kids. Every wish of these kids is fulfilled.” 

She further added, “The case is being mishandled by the police at the end even though they tried their best to find them.” 

“I request all the news outlets to kindly take down the video of the kids in which they are forced to make a statement which not true by any means.”
