The federal government has officially made the announcement for the Ashura holidays – 11th October i.e. Tuesday and 12th October i.e. Wednesday, SAMAA News reports. According to the press release issued by the federal home minister, the federal government has announced a two-day holiday nationwide on account of 9th and 10th Muharram.
According to the circular, all public and semi-government institutions are to remain closed on October 11th and 12th on the account of Muharram 9th and 10th (1438 AH).
All banks, schools, colleges, government offices and markets are to remain closed on Tuesday & Wednesday, reports SAMAA News.
