The World XI series has been the talk of the town since it kicked off at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
Following the second T20 on the 13th of September, the PCB awards went underway on the eve of 14th September and we have to say that the green carpet was a pretty star studded affair.

Skipper Sarfraz Ahmed won big at the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Awards 2017 ceremony on Thursday, bagging the title of Outstanding Player of the Year.

Former skipper Misbah-ul-Haq, who was present at the ceremony, received the Imtiaz Ahmed Spirit Award.

PCB Chairman Najam Sethi announced that awards of Rs10 million each for Younis Khan and Shahid Afridi would be donated to the Edhi Foundation. Responding to the announcement, Shahid Afridi thanked Sethi for saying,“Nothing better than supporting this noble cause.”
