After launching affordable Smartphones in the Pakistani tech-markets, Xiaomi Mobile has now introduced the Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 for just $220!
While it’s been released in China, there is no word on an international launch. It is available in Champagne Gold colour option only (for now) and costs $220.
Design & Display
The Mi Pad is almost the same as the Mi Pad 2, the metal frame is all too familiar. It boasts a 7.9in IPS LCD panel with QXGA (2048 x 1536) resolution and 326 ppi pixel density.display.
Storage & Internal Specs
The pad supposedly features a Mediatek MT 8176 hexa-core processor with 4 GB RAM. Its predecessor, the Mi Pad 2 was equipped with a quad-core Intel Atom X5-Z8500 processor with 2 GB of RAM. There is only one storage option of 64GB, and no space for a MicroSD or SIM card.
On the OS side of things, you get Android Marshmallow based MIUI 8 only. Xiaomi did not announce a Windows version of the Mi Pad 3.
Camera
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 is equipped with a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture sensor with no LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera.
Battery
Mi Pad 3 comes with a 6600 mAh non-removable battery.
