In 2014, all limits were crossed when a school was attacked. An army school, no less. This gives rise to some form of personal vendetta against the authorities as well. On the morning of December 16th, students and teachers left for school, hoping to get their daily education dose. They walked into their schools with hopes in their hearts and wind at their heels. On that same day, insurgents made their way into that school.
They did not give a second thought before gunning down any human that came in their crosshairs. These poor children, as well as teachers, became the target for a terrorist attack. They attacked children; innocent children! What causes a person to commit a crime condemned by the highest authorities? Murder in the first degree is bad, but gunning someone down in cold blood, point-blank, is a crime that crosses all humane boundaries.
In light of the crime that shook the world seven years ago, many people have taken to Twitter to mourn the loss. Many have posted, which reminds us why we need to keep fighting for the right thing. This heavy Twitter presence signifies that no one has forgotten this event yet. It is as fresh in their minds as it was, years ago.

The first female and youngest-ever Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at FMCG Unilever, Leena Nair stepped away to join the French luxury fashion group Chanel as its Global CEO. She is the second Indian-origin woman to take over as a global CEO after Indra Nooyi (PepsiCo), who happens to be Leena’s mentor.

As well as a driving force on Unilever’s equity, diversity, and inclusion agenda. She has played a critical role in building our purpose-led, future-fit organisation.”
The Indian born British national has been given the charge of ensuring Chanel’s “long term success as a private company”, a statement says. Meanwhile, recognising Leena Nair as a “visionary leader whose ability to champion a long-term, purpose-driven agenda is matched with a consistently strong record of business outcomes”.

The moment people got to know of the plagiarism being done, they rallied in favor of Peek Freans. Trolling Cookania, people talked about how, when people make copies, they have to legitimize their authority by mentioning words like asli (real) or qadeemi (old).
Weirdly though, the Cookania Lemon Sandwich is so plagiarized that the ‘original’ on the packet is also plagiarized from Peek Freans’ Lemon Sandwich. People even hinted at copyright infringements.

In the most recent episode of objectifying women, the gender has been compared with a hot plate of biryani. Yes, you read that right! Biryani. This time, however, it is not in form of a meme, rather on a live show. On a news show on GTV, the anchor had three guests, one of them, Nadia Hussain. In one of the questions, the journalist objectified women and the actress was rightfully angry.
Possibly trying to justify the animal behaviour of those men who harass women, the journalist asked a question. He said that Nadia you might better understand the scenario if your favourite biryani was served in front of you, hot. Would you not eat that?

If one could tear apart this question, it was problematic on numerous levels. It showed that the journalist was a sexist man who considered man and woman’s relation to be that of predator and prey; that men were wired to drool over women.
Nadia Hussain’s rightful response
She lost her cool right away. There was no point in trying to correct the problematic beliefs of the GTV journalist, Owais Rabbani who believed women to be lower than men. Hence, the actress immediately delved to deal with the situation in his own language. She said that if a woman was a plate of biryani and I was dying to have it, I would not. She said that if I knew eating biryani was a crime, I would exercise self restrain. And especially, if eating biryani meant harm to someone else, she would definitely not eat it even if she wanted to eat it.
By now, women have become used to the weird examples they have been compared to. You must remember the time a meme went viral that showed two lollipops on the grown, one covered and the other, not so much. The uncovered lollipop was laden with a few hundred ants. At another time, they were compared to an orange.
This is the first time someone took it a step further. Now, the debate was no more about a covered or an uncovered woman. This time it was about a woman, dressed prettily and compared to the biryani.

Now, this update cuts down the premium time also by 5 entire days. It is a brilliant service that ensures timely renewal of passports.
Many times a loved one passes away in another country and you need to travel. If the passport is expired, we miss out on the biggest opportunity to say goodbye. The 38th NBBUI World Bodybuilding Championships 2021 was held on 27th and 28th of November at Valencia, Spain. The mega event was graced by the presence national and international bodybuilding athletes among which were Irfan Asghar and Abdul Majeed, representing Pakistan.
The will and form of Pakistani body builders including Irfan and Majeed took spectators by storm with their brilliant performances. Pakistan bagged the gold and silver medals at the championship.

Twitter is trending once again on well, you guessed it, Twitter. This time, it is not because it was the only platform working when others suddenly stopped or that they introduced a new feature but for something completely different. The hashtag to be exact was #BiasedTwitter.
The Twitter community in Pakistan stands offended today since the moment they found out that a few Twitter accounts were suspended. The rage overflowed as Pakistanis voiced their concern over being treated unfairly. They said that the platform was exercising a non-democratic rule where they were suspending even verified accounts without proper procedure. The claims were that their only crime was to be speaking for Pakistan.

Don't be biased at such level & treat all equally including Pakistani users. If varification badge is allocated after having all requirements fulfilled , It is unfair to remove it.
We, of course, wanted to find out where it all started so we explored the hashtag for a little while. The matter was for sure between India and Pakistan as the Pakistani netizens referred to Indians occupying top spots in major tech companies. Not that we were lucky on pinpointing the origins, but the picture did indeed become clear. As it turns out, once again, some Pakistanis had spoken for Kashmir through their Twitter handle.
Twitter apparently suspended these users’ accounts.
This speaks volumes of the bias in Twitter’s policies. It was a similar matter when the humans were speaking against Israel for their atrocities in Palestine. And now, Pakistani Twitter uses are getting suspended for raising their voice at the atrocities Kashmiris in the India Occupied area have to face. While we hope that solutions are enforced in such conflict-hit zones, we also hope that digital media remains free. Moreover, the people in the high seats controlling these platforms would stop controlling people’s narratives.

One would expect that Hareem Shah would become less controversial after her marriage but it is the opposite. Matches really are made in heaven as she and her husband are made for each other. Every controversial video made includes them both and this time, it was no different. The two were unpacking something illegal and that too, shamelessly!

We’re also unsure of what the purpose of this video is. Are they showing everybody that they are about to get drunk or is it simply for publicity? It seems unclear because they also have immense knowledge of it and clearly keep the bottles in their home.

This was also insanely absurd to post because alcohol has been banned in Pakistan for Muslims and if found on any Muslim, it can have serious repercussions. Why flaunt it then? The comments on this post have been limited but netizens are definitely unhappy and are involving the police as well.
The couple is always obsessing with each other and doing weird things and somehow, it makes it to the news. Hareem Shah then takes screenshots of those news headlines and also posts them! There are videos of the husband holding her feet; these are extremely intimate videos and pictures, and it’s beyond our understanding why they post this content.
Hareem Shah initially hid her husband’s identity because he is from a political party but now it’s as if she only wants people to know about him! There is no sophistication in airing your every-kind-of-laundry on social media. It genuinely seems as if they are profiting off of these controversies to make their name.

If you plan on continuing your education after intermediate from within Pakistan, the best bet would be to give the Undergraduate Studies Admission Test (USAT). The Higher Education Commission HEC has announced the registration process for the test as well as its last date.
Before we get to discussing the last date of registration, let’s look at the application process and the streams you can select from.
To apply, you will have to go to the HEC portal and log on to your account. First, if you haven’t already done so, complete your profile. After that, select the Undergraduate Studies Admission Test on the left of the portal. Your application will open. Fill it out and click submit.
Make sure to click submit. Just in case, do check that the status of that particular application is set as ‘submitted’ on the dashboard because HEC will not consider saved or incomplete applications.
You will also have to deposit PKR 1,200 in HEC’s account number provided. The paid challan needs to be sent to HEC Islamabad.
Another question that arises in students’ minds is which stream this test is for. Considering most people choose two or three mainstream disciplines in Pakistan, are those the only ones, students can appear for?
The answer is no. They can choose the stream they want to sit for. The streams available include Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical, Art & Humanities, Computer Science, General Science, and Commerce.
Once the students receive their scorecard, they can submit it to all the universities that accept it to judge the student’s profile. Of course, if required by the university, the students may have to sit in the university’s admission test as well.
Of course, that led to some students raising an important question. They said that if universities are going to conduct their own tests then what exactly is the need for this one.

That said since the mechanism for the test exists, maybe the authorities will try to perfect it further just like how they have perfected other facilities.
Last date
The registration process has already started and the last date is set to be December 27th, 2021. Once the process completes, the test will take place on January 9th. Until then, study away and excel at the test.
