Internet sensation, Chahat Fateh Ali Khan, just dropped a spirited unofficial anthem for the ICC World Cup 2023 in India.

Chahat, whose real name is Kashif Rana, can be seen dancing energetically while enthusiastically chanting the anthem. The lyrics of the anthem are as engaging as its rhythm, providing an amusing overview of the tournament’s schedule.

The British-Pakistani sensation got the attention he was expecting, and fortunately, netizens weren’t too harsh, given the nature of the song.

Some even went so far as to hype up the singer for his creative effort.

It must be noted that British-Pakistani Chahat Fateh Ali Khan was once a first-class cricketer in Pakistan.

However, he faced significant trolling after claiming in an interview that former Test cricketer Aaqib Javed had played under his captaincy during school cricket.

“I selected Aaqib Javed in the cricket team of the government school of Sheikhupura. He played under my captaincy,” he said in an interview with Geo News.

Let us know your thoughts about the anthem in the comments below.
