Aroob Jatoi, social media presence and wife of a renowned YouTuber Ducky Bhai, has finally spoken up. She took it to platform X, formerly Twitter, and expressed her disgust at the situation at hand. Not long ago, the couple shared a video regarding the matter. They discussed a deep fake AI-generated video of Aroob circling the internet. And that they want to find out who the culprit is. Since then, many have been trying to connect the dots, hoping it leads back to someone. Wishing the 10 lacs offered as a reward go to them.

Aroob and Saad have been married since April 2022. The two have shared their life with their fans on vlogs. Unfortunately, this incident has hurt many hearts, and they haven’t posted since.

Aroob went on Twitter and shared her thoughts on the matter. She stated, “Heartbroken to see how deep fake technology can be weaponized to violate privacy.”

She further continued, “The fact that someone created a fake video of me naked is beyond disturbing. This is a reminder of the dangers of AI misuse.”

“We must urgently address this issue to protect everyone’s safety,” Aroob maintained.

The revelation that this had occurred came after Ducky Bhai uploaded a video on Instagram discussing the matter. Saad shared, in precise detail, how this uploaded video is AI-generated. He even showed the exact time stamps where you can see glitches. Moreover, he commented on how for the entire duration of the video, Aroob has a robotic expression, which is a consequence of AI.

To speed up this entire process of finding out who is guilty of creating and posting this video, Saad has shared an email account where anyone familiar with the culprit can share every shred of evidence they can find. As a reward, they’ll be given 1M rupees.

Standard Chartered Pakistan Delivers A Strong Financial Performance For Q1 2024

Karachi, 29 April 2024: Standard Chartered Bank Pakistan Limited (SCBPL) delivered a strong performance, that has led to a growth of 53% in profit before tax to PKR 24.7 billion.

Overall revenue grew 44%, whereas client revenue increased by 36% year on year with positive contributions from all segments. While operating expenses increased 22% from comparative period in line with inflation, bank continues to lead the industry with the lowest cost to income ratio of 17%. Moreover, lower impairments as a result of prudent risk approach coupled with recoveries of bad debts led to a net release of PKR 0.5 billion in Q1’24 compared to a net charge of PKR 0.2 billion in the comparative period.

On the liabilities side, the Bank’s total deposits stand at PKR 765bn; up by PKR 45 billion, whereas current accounts registered a healthy growth of PKR 33 billion up 9% since the start of this year and comprise 52% of the deposit base. On asset side, net advances were lower by PKR 11 billion or 5% since the start of this year.

On the back of a strong performance, the Board of Directors were pleased to announce an interim cash dividend of 15.0% (PKR 1.50/- per share) in respect of the three months period ended March 31, 2024.

Unfortunately, this news is nothing short of unfortunate. In a recent plight, Ducky Bhai has come forward to talk about a deep fake AI-generated video of his wife going viral. He was quick to take action when it came to his attention that an AI-generated video of his wife Aroob, was spreading.

Ducky Bhai, the stage name for Saad Ur Rehman, is a renowned Pakistani vlogger and comedian. He made a name for himself talking about popular trends in a comedic tone. Back in April 2022, he tied the knot with Aroob Jotai and the couple has shared their life since then.

What Ducky Bhai Had To Say

On Instagram, the couple shared a video bringing attention to this news. In the video released, Saad in detail shared the concept of Deepfake AI images and videos that can be generated. In the customized video of Aroob, Ducky Bhai in detail pointed out every clip of evidence that proved that it was fake.

He then also brought light on how the video that is circulating, is phone-recorded. The phone-recorded video in return is a recording of the AI-generated video’s projection. According to Ducky Bhai, all this is done to make sure the AI is difficult to detect.

In their video, Aroob sat by Saad and gave her two cents in between. Initially, she spoke about how she prays that no woman goes through this, and then later requests that whoever may come across this, kingly try to comment it’s fake.

On an ending note, Saad shares a Gmail account and announces he will award the individual who helps him find the culprit a total of 10 LAKHS. He promises to keep their identity hidden. Moreover, hand over the case to the police. But, as an award for sending complete proof, he will hand out 10 lakhs.

In a quite weird incident from India’s Uttar Pradesh state, a bride decided to call off her wedding with her would-be husband after discovering his educational background was lied about. According to Indian reporters, the groom’s family had misrepresented his education to the bride’s family before the marriage.

Upon the groom’s arrival at the bride’s house with the wedding procession (baraat), the bride made an unexpected demand. Before proceeding with the wedding rituals, she asked the groom to recite the table of two. However, the groom stuttered and was unable to fulfill this simple request. As a consequence, her demand ended up exposing his lack of basic education. Though in the moment it might have seemed unexpected and of no use, it ended up highlighting something of great importance.

As a result of the groom’s inability to recite the table of two, the bride decided to call off the wedding then and there. And we wish more power to her. This event, which took place in 2021, recently gained attention on social media after a news clip resurfaced on Instagram.
