Noori, the Pakistani rock band that came out in 1996 needs no introduction. A favourite of many children from the 90’s, Noori stole hearts with its captivating Manwa Re, Suno ke Main Hun Jawan, Saari Raat and the likes.
Last night, the Noori boys’ uncle Azam Jamil took to Twitter to plead for prayers and possibly a liver for his nephew and lead vocalist of the band, Ali Noor.
He explained in his tweet that, due to mistreatment of hepatitis by a doctor, Ali Noor was in dire need of a liver transplant within 48 hours.
My nephew Ali Noor of Noori is very seriously ill. Doctors have messed up his hepatitis treatment. He needs a liver transsplant in 48 hours. Please pray.

“There is no need for a blood donor, and the only liver donor if need be would be a family member!”
Things look better, and we wish the Pakistani rockstar a speedy recovery.
