United Arab Emirates (UAE) has now launched an automated system that will enable tourists to apply for their travel permits in just 15 seconds.
The country’s top immigration authority, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) has announced that travelers can easily make their visa bookings to the UAE within seconds through the Artificial Intelligence (AI) programme.
How Does it Work?
Termed as Entry permit 50+, it will enable visa officials to issue eVisas to visitors with the help of Artificial Intelligence.
Without any human intervention, the innovative technological system will process the eVisa in just 15 seconds.
Around 5 million visa transactions have been completed with the system and have diminished waiting time along with service center visits to zero.
How to Apply
Tourists who wish to apply can go to the visa authority’s official website or smart app.
It will scan the applicant’s documents and issue visa on the spot in 15 seconds. As the AI system is connected to government entities and programs, it can easily validate the documents and check their authenticity.
The program can also detect fraudulent documents and can reject the data issued by suspicious applicants.
The application time has been reduced from previous 4-6 hours, to now reach only 15 seconds.
