However, not everyone is able to obtain the visa that easily – in fact, most applicants tend to face rejection.

- Applicants with a history of criminal offense, misconduct or fraud will be rejected for entry in the UAE.
- Handwritten passport copies will be rejected by the UAE immigration.
- Females traveling under the age of 25 without their parents or relatives might be rejected for the visa or may face a delay in the visa application.
- Applying for the unskilled profession for a UAE entry visa such as farmer, laborer or service might be automatically rejected.
- Applicants with the same name, birthdate, etc. will face delays in getting visa approval or even face rejection.
- Applicants who previously applied for a tourist visa but did not enter the country. For approval, the PRO of the travel agency or a sponsor must go to the UAE immigration in order to clear the previous UAE visa. Tourist visa expires after 60 days.
- Applicants who applied for employment visa by the company but did not enter the country. For approval, the PRO of the travel agency or a sponsor must go to the UAE immigration in order to clear the previous employment UAE visa.
- Delays or rejection will be faced by applications with errors on their visa application including typo error of names, profession code, and passport number.
- Applicants previously holding a residence visa leaving the company without UAE visa cancelation. For approval, the PRO will have to go to immigration to clear previous residence visa.
- Delays or rejection might be faced for applicants who photos of the passport copies are not clear or are blurred when applied through the online UAE immigration system.
