The winter season is upon us, with temperatures falling and a chill in the air, people are preparing for the cold spell that is set to hit Karachi soon. Winter vacations are what people look forward to, while majority travel for a quick getaway, others get a chance to meet with their loved ones.
The Sindh Government has announced the official winter vacation dates from the 22nd of December to 31st of December 2017 have been listed in the province. All government institutes, schools, colleges, and universities would be closed down as per the dates.

Even though it was decided previously that winter vacations would be shifted from December to January due to the changing weather over the years, it has not been so this year either. This time around however, various Private schools in Karachi have announced winter holidays from the 22nd of December to the 4th of January 2018.
