Two new companies will now be manufacturing vehicles in Pakistan. Topsun Motors and Pak-China Motors have been awarded the Greenfield status by the government. Meaning that now both will be able to make and sell their cars in the country.

According to MOIP’s notification, under the ADP 2016-21 policy, the government of Pakistan has conferred category-A Greenfield Investment Status to Topsun Motors Limited and Pak-China Motors for the assembly and manufacture of vehicles.

Topsun Motors founded in 2015 is dedicated to the marketing and maintenance of a wide range of automobiles. Though Topsun’s exclusive domain is marketing of vehicles of European origin yet it deals in vehicles of other origins as well.

Topsun deals in vehicles of all brands. However, few significant brands of interest are listed below:-

2.Audi
3.Porsche
4.BMW
5.Nissan
6.Toyota
7.Mitsubishi
8.Miscellaneous

Besides marketing of above-mentioned brands, Topsun also offers maintenance of these brands. Imported parts for these brands are also available at Topsun’s maintenance centers in Lahore and Multan.

Topsun Motors is currently operating in Punjab only. Plans are underway for expanding the business to other provinces of the country as well.

We have yet to see which other automotive manufacturers make their way within the country.
