Chaos has erupted on social media! Snapchat users are angry at the company for the unwanted updated, and want the person behind the idea to be fired immediately!
In order to bring back the old and loved the update, users have made and signed a virtual petition which will be shared with the company so that they are forced to get rid of the new design.
Snapchat first started to roll out this new design back in December 2017, the design came to Pakistan in February and had the same impression as it did worldwide!
Individuals took it to Twitter, Facebook, and other platforms asking for help to bring the older version back.
According to many, the new design has demotivated 800,000 users and has encouraged the majority of them to move towards Instagram as an alternative option.
Afterall, the first look and feel, even the very first experience was very traumatizing and confusing!

The petition went live shortly after the update started rolling out to users, pleads for the return of Snapchat’s old look.
“With the release of the new Snapchat update, many users have found that it has not made the app easier to use, but has, in fact, made many features more difficult,” it reads.
“There is a general level of annoyance among users and many have decided to use a VPN app to go back to the old Snapchat, as that’s how annoying this new update has become. Many ‘new features’ are useless or defeat the original purposes Snapchat has had for the past years,” the petition page noted.
“This petition aims to help convince Snap Inc. to change the app back to the basics, before this new 2018 update.”
The company, however, has called for patience, and is urging users to give the update “a chance”.
