The Department of Education has announced the summer vacations for 2017. The release of the holiday schedule for the new academic year brings good news for parents and students who want to make plans for the summer.
Summer holidays will begin on the 1st of June and will continue up to the 14th of August. On account of Independence Day, schools will re-open and celebrate the auspicious day with students.
The long haul summer vacations become a time for summer camps and activities such as swimming, karate, arts & crafts etc. to flourish as children are free for more than a period of 3 months.
Similarly, winter vacations have also been scheduled for 22nd December and will continue up to the 31st which will cover the cold spell of the year.
