In today’s episode of Love Across Borders, a girl has traveled to India to find the love of her life. After a struggle for five years, the girl who belongs to Karachi traveled to India to meet her fiance.

India and Pakistan might not be a match made in heaven but this couple who managed to get engaged and unite across borders is sure a testament to that. Karachi’s Javeria Khanum and Kolkata’s Sameer Khan have reunited in India as the former traveled to get married to the Indian resident.

Following the approval of the marriage between Javeria Khanum and Sameer Khan,  Javeria successfully obtained an Indian visa after five years of attempts, making the journey from Karachi to India through the Wagah border. Upon her arrival, she was warmly greeted by her fiancé Sameer and her future father-in-law Ahmed Kamal Khan Yousafzai, accompanied by celebratory dhol beats.

In 2018, Javeria and Sameer first got in touch via social media, and their friendship eventually evolved into love.

The couple is all set to get married in Kolkata in January 2024. The news has spread like wildfire on social media. According to the reports, due to COVID-19 restrictions and visa challenges, Javeria couldn’t travel to India earlier. After a five-year wait, she successfully obtained a visa and journeyed to India to formalize her marriage with Sameer.
