Pakistan Digital Rights Foundation conducted a survey on what politicians in Pakistan were referred to from January-July 2018.
In the report, it was found that female politicians from different parties were referred to as “cute”, “beautiful”, and even “sexy”. Whereas male politicians were called “thief”, “lion”, and even “hero”.
This report was shared in a tweet by digital activist and lawyer, Nighat Dad.

The infographic shows which comments were used to describe both the genders. Even vulgar terms have been used for them.
The chart also shows that more abusive adjectives were used to describe the male politicians as compared to the females.
