JF-17 Fighter Jet

Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohammad was invited by Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan to come as a guest for the Pakistan Day parade show where JF-17 Jets were exhibited.

The premier gave an interview following the grand celebrations and shared, “They [Pakistan] have been able to build aircraft now which were demonstrated. They performed very well.”

PM Mahathir Mohammad added that the Pakistan Army is very strong and that if they were to be fought with, their enemies will surely get a bloody nose.

I know how strong the Pakistan Army is. If you fight against them, you will get a bloody nose.

He furthermore said:

They [Pakistan] have been able to build aircraft now which were demonstrated. They performed very well.

I knew Pakistan will like to sell its planes to us, so we said to give us one or two planes so we can see how strong they are.

The Malaysian PM also shared that the country will be purchasing two JF-17 fighter jets to test the complete strength of the aircraft. Once that has been done, they will be willing to purchase more in the long-run.
