After the exhausting holy month of Ramzan, Karachi is all set to welcome the long Eid weekend and couldn’t be happier!

However, according to Pakistan Meteorological Department, hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country for the next 2-3 days.

This may make it a little difficult for Karachiites to enjoy their long Eid weekend outside of their houses.

The PMD release reports that the temperature in Karachi may even hit as high as 40-degree centigrade on June 5th, which is also the first day of Eid.

We recommend the following precautions to help you prepare for the hot Eid weekend:

Stay hydrated! Drink as much water and other liquids during Sehri and after Iftari as you can, yogurt is the best option you can opt for to stay hydrated all day long.

Keep an umbrella handy for all your Eid visits to guests houses, or keep a bottle of water and a handkerchief in hand.

Apply sunscreen before leaving the house and avoid going out on long journeys from 12-4pm, stay indoors.
