Millions of people come to the ‘mandi’ in order to purchase sacrificial animals for Eid ul Azha and to accommodate everyone a number of facilities have been established. The cattle market is situated on Super Highway where the use of tractors, bulldozers, and other heavy machinery are being used to clear up the area for use.
The biggest cattle market in Asia will cover an area of 1200 acres after its plan was finalized. The necessary facilities such as financial, security and lighting. For security purposes, the Police and Rangers are going to be put in place.
Water supply for the merchants and animals will be available and for those going out to buy cattle, you would have access to various banking facilities.
