Indian ‘Pasoori’ Remake

The Ali Sethi & Shea Gill hit ‘Pasoori’ is getting a Bollywood remake and Pakistanis are not happy. The Coke Studio hit which managed to make headlines on music charts and Coachella is now being adopted by the Indian director for the upcoming Indian movie ‘Satya Prem Ki Katha’. The movie will star Kartik Aaryan & Kiara Adwani. The movie which is set to release on June 28 will be shooting the video for Pasoori remake in upcoming days.

The news was shared on Twitter and fans are wondering whether the remake is even needed or if done so whether it will manage to impress fans like the original song.

Twitter Reacts To Pasoori Remake

The backlash on Twitter for Indian movies is obvious and fans across both borders are furious over the lack of creativity shown by Indian directors. This is not the first time and many instances of Pakistani songs recreated for Indian movies have happened in the past.

Pakistani fans are pleading Bollywood to stay away from Coke studio mixes. Meanwhile, Indian fans are cursing the industry for not coming up with original and creative content.
