During the first 10 days of July 2016, banks in Pakistan will remain closed from July 1st to July 10th 2016, open only for one day in between. If one has to approach the bank for the purpose of transactions, then they must do it quickly! Cheques that will be submitted on June 30th will not be cleared before July 11th 2016.
As per the details, the banks will stay closed on July 1st for a 6 month audit. However, the recent update is that banks are to remain open on 2nd and 9th of July, both Saturdays; banks will remain close for weekly holiday purpose in the first week of July.

The banks, however, will remain open on the 4th of July; Eid holidays are to begin from 5th of July until the 8th of July while 10th of July, Sundays, is a weekly holiday.
Banks are to remain open on 2nd, 4th and 9th of July 2016.
