Pakistan International Airline (PIA) Pilot Sisters, Maryam Masood, and Erum Masood have been listed as two of the grounded PIA pilots among 150 others. A thorough investigation has been called out into the matter by PM Imran Khan after PIA’s recent plane crash.

Investigation reveals that 150 Pilots may have fake licenses.

A twitter user highlights the issue, says, this does not prove anything. Let the process run its course. Rushing to judgment with incomplete information and tarnishing people’s credibility and achievement must be avoided.

These pilots have cleared their exams through unfair means or got their jobs through unfair means.

Arif Iqbal Faruqi from Lahore, who has lost his children and wife in the recent plane crash, has been calling out the culprits on social media and default in the system.

The pilot sisters in 2016 were applauded for becoming the first pair to fly aircraft Boeing 777 concurrently. History was made as there was no record of two sisters simultaneously flying the same weight category aircraft.

PIA spokesman Danyal Gilani said: “There is no known record of two real sisters having flown the same weight category aircraft concurrently.”

He added: “History was made when Erum was upgraded to fly a B-777.”

Last year, one of the sisters, Maryam Masood, had made it to the headlines again. Reportedly, Maryam was flying an aircraft scheduled to take off from Islamabad to Gilgit that skidded on the runway. Urine tests were done, and later the pilot was grounded.
