Farmida Bi from London capital markets and Islamic finance partner, CBE, will take over her role as Global Chair from January 1st, 2022. At Norton Rose Fulbright, Farmida will focus on excelling the client service and encouraging a culture of connectivity and inclusivity throughout all the branches spread across the world.
At this very firm, Farmida had been a chair was for the region Europe, Middle East, and Asia (EMEA). It was a position achieved through elections in 2018 and was to last for three years But earlier this year, she got re-elected for another term. At this position as well, Farmida had focused on global connectivity, social responsibility, inclusivity, and sustainability.

Farmida Bi has numerous medals to her name. She has made it to iconic lists such as “Top 20 Most Influential in Legal Services 2021” and “100 Most Influential Women in European Finance” from 2019-2021. Farmida was named in the HERoes Top 100 Role Model List 2020 and 2019. Moreover, she got featured in The Lawyer’s Hot 100 Leaders 2019 as well.
To get more specific, she was amongst Britain’s top five most powerful Muslim women. In 2020, her services to the law and to charity by HM The Queen were as well as, she was recognized as she was made a Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (CBE).
