Recently, a video of Nadia Khan went viral on social media. In which Sharmila Faruqui’s mother, Anisa Faruqui was seen asking about her make-up at Saboor Ali’s wedding. The video didn’t sit well with the Sindh assembly member Sharmila Faruqui as she announced to lodge a complaint against Nadia Khan in cybercrime.

In other news, Nadia Khan has now responded to Faruqui’s Statement in an interview.

Nadia Khan’s Latest Statement 

In a recent interview, Nadia set the record straight by claiming that she has now removed the video from social media.

“Sharmila can go to the cybercrime authorities if she wants to but it’s redundant to drag this issue on after the video has been deleted.”

Adding further, she said, “Things could escalate if I would have said anything further on the issue.”

Addressing Sharmila Faruqui’s attitude, Nadia said, “There is nothing wrong with that. I haven’t asked any wrong questions nor have I done anything wrong, don’t talk to me in that tone at all.”

Sharmila Faruqui’s Statement 

Sharmila Faruqui’s had allegedly talked to the host on messages herself. In an interview, she reflected on Nadia Khan’s attitude.

“I inboxed [Nadia] and said it is very shameless of you to do this.”

To which she replied, “There is nothing wrong in this. I have not asked anything wrong and I have not done anything wrong. Stop using harsh words with me.”

Sharmila Faruqui then gave her two cents on the entire situation. She added,

“She is shameless and heartless and it’s very very unfortunate,” adding, “I have a lot of respect for people in showbiz, they work hard.”

“My mother is a very simple woman.” Adding that she lost her father and her mother lost her husband three months ago.

“She is trying to survive without her husband,” she said. “You don’t have anything else to do so you want to get publicity and ratings by making such videos,” said Sharmila.
