karachi rain

Karachiites! Brace yourself for another round of heavy rain and thunderstorm! Seems like we will have quite a rainy Eid-ul-Azha 2017 this time around as Pakistan Metrological Department has predicted back-to back spell of rain in the metropolis.

The downpour is forecasted to kick-start from Tuesday (tomorrow) till the weekend on Eid-Ul-Azha celebrations.

According to ARY News, PMD has warned the citizens to gear up for consequences for the upcoming bout of monsoon rain.

“We are expecting rain on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday,” said chief meteorologist of the city Abdul Rasheed told Dawn!

“There is no [existing] storm and neither will a storm form [this week].”

Moreover, according to PMD, the temperature is expected to rise and sea-breeze may also come to a halt on Tuesday.

It is to be noted that it will be quite a challenging time for the natives and the administration. It will be difficult to handle managerial responsibilities on account of Eid-Ul-Azha

Usually, when it rains the city gets clogged. Now, the improper disposal of animal waste will add to the mess in the metropolis. Currently, hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain-thunderstorm is expected at few places in Mirpurkhas division.

Last week, unexpected rains lead to dozens of death inn the city. Now that PMD has warned the citizens, all precautionary measures should be taken by the citizens before hand.
