Have you been looking for ways to beat the heat? while still enjoying a sweet treat? at home? Well, you are in luck! Here is the recipe for a simple 4 INGREDIENT ice cream, that you can store in, and later eat out of, a jar. This recipe is so convenient, you don’t even require any electrical mixers, just a jar and yourself!

What Really Is Home-Made Ice-Cream

You start with 3 simple things, 1. heavy whipping cream, 2. sweetened condensed milk, and 3. a jar! All you need to do is shake them up well until the mixture thickens. The shaking adds air to the mixture. It then thickens the cream. Within minutes, you have Homemade Ice Cream in a Jar.

It is literally that easy.

Ingredients

  1. A Glass Jar & Lid
  2. Heavy Whipping Cream (minimum 36% fat content)
  3. Sweetened Condensed Milk
  4. Freezer-Ready Ice-Cream Container

Believe it or not, this is all you require to make a fantastic ice-cream jar.

How to Make Ice Cream at Home

  1. Place a 12 oz glass jar with a sealable lid in the fridge for 30 minutes. Avoid using plastic containers as they can be messy.
  2. Add heavy whipping cream and condensed milk to the chilled jar. Stir well until combined.
  3. Seal the jar tightly and shake vigorously for 6-10 minutes until the mixture thickens. The time may vary based on your shaking intensity.
  4. You now have a thick, creamy ice cream base ready for any flavor.

If you wish to not add any flavors, you can just add all the toppings of your liking! Make your jar ass interesting as you like. Add cookies, nuts, gummy bears, chocolate chips, and even sprinkles!
