In Hyderabad, two youngsters and 14 more were wounded when a madrassa’s roof fell during the rain. Six individuals lost their lives and twenty-five more were injured in several rain accidents in Punjab.
Five more people were hurt in Thehri when a house’s roof collapsed and a youngster died.
A girl also nearly drowned in the Nala Kargah Near Gilgit. Though she was saved, her aunt and mother died while trying to save her. The Met Office warned of more monsoon rain, strong winds, and dust storms. It also hinted at more possible seasonal nullah floods and low visibility brought on by southern dust storms.
Overnight, rain in Karachi waterlogged many regions. About 350 power feeders tripped, resulting in frequent citywide blackouts. Mayor Murtaza Wahab went through the struck regions like Defence, Clifton, South District, the Governor House, the Sindh Assembly, and the Supreme Court.
