Honda Atlas Cars Pakistan has delayed the launch of Pakistan’s first 1200cc Hatchback, Honda Brio.
The reason behind the delay is the current-uncertain economic climate of the country as it struggles to match the Rupee with the Dollar.
The Honda Brio Hatchback is a 1.2 L L12B i-VTEC I4 engine equipped vehicle with 5-speed-manual (CVT) transmission.

Sources have confirmed that the company has already given local vendors tools, mods, and drawings of dies.
“HACP has now asked local vendors to cancel their activities for parts development. They also asked for the drawings to be handed back to the company,” claimed a Honda vendor.
“It’s (Honda Brio) launch is neither final nor dropped. It is yet to be finalized for entry into the Pakistani market. It is in the planning phase.” said an official from Honda Atlas.
Asides Honda, other top manufacturers also have new vehicles coming within the next 3 years, including KIA, Renault, Hyundai, and many Chinese brands are also looking forward to the market.
