COVID has kept us on edge ever since it took over the world. But with time, the vaccination for the illness was launched and a number of countries acquired it. Pakistan was one of them. The vaccination process was underway but with the arrival of Delta and all the new variants, everyone is in a haste to get vaccinated.
If you are worried about where to find the COVID vaccination centers, we are here to help you.
Vaccination phases and process
Before we delve into that, let us tell you that there are phases in which you can access the vaccine. First and foremost, healthcare workers and the 65 plus citizens were vaccinated. In the second phase, age 50 plus could also get their vaccine. After that, the phase for 30-year-olds and above was announced. After that, everyone could get their vaccine by just registering themselves.
To register, send your Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) number to 1166. You will get a registration code. Once you are done with that, you will have to go to one of the COVID Vaccination centers.
Here is a list of the COVID vaccination centers:
For the longest time, the major vaccination facilities in Karachi have been Expo Centre and Khaliq Dina Hall, running 24/7. There have been other vaccination centers that administer vaccines for specific time periods but not around the clock. As a result, when Sindh was placed under lockdown for fear of Delta variant as well as the threat of sim blockade was announced, people rushed to the 24-hour vaccination centers. The said vaccination centers have been overcrowded ever since.
In fact, people even broke the Expo center’s gate to get their dose of vaccine.

For this reason, the government has announced some more 24-hour vaccination centers to get the burden off of the two existing lines. The newly assigned 24-hour centers may be the ones already administering vaccines, but their duration has now been lengthened.
