Yasir Hussain and Iqra Aziz are one of Pakistan’s most popular couples often trending and creating a social media buzz.
Over the weekend, during the extravagant Lux Style Awards 2019, Yasir surprised the audience and of course the beautiful and vivacious Iqra by proposing to her with a gorgeous engagement ring.
Designed by the jewellery brand Inherit Fine Diamonds, the beautifully crafted ring is made of 18-karat white gold set with over half a karat in diamonds.
It took Inherit Fine Diamonds 4 days to make this customised hand crafted ring in order to surprise Iqra and others as no one was aware of the proposal!

Shenila Saleem, a certified gemologist and diamond consultant, is the beauty and brains behind Iqra’s engagement ring. She spoke to us exclusively about what went on before Yasir’s proposal.

Since the engagement proposal to Iqra was a secret. Yasir made sure he approached a jewellery designer and a brand he could trust.
He wanted something special and customised for Iqra and of course high-quality diamonds and making.
A diamond engagement ring is very special and admired by everyone. Iqra is a pretty and petite girl.
I wanted to design something very delicate, with emphasis on the bigger centre diamond and side diamonds sparkling on the white gold band.

The evergreen Meera wore diamond chandelier earrings and a stunning cocktail ring with ritualised quartz and canary and white brilliant diamonds.
