Hence, Pakistan is likely to celebrate Eidul Azha on Friday, September 1.


The Eid al-Adha 2017 is most likely to fall on Friday, September 1, 2017, in Pakistan, so the Eid al-Adha 2017 holidays likely to be on Sep 1 to 4.

September 1 is expected to be the first day of Eid al-Azha but it will be further confirmed after moon sighting tomorrow.

The Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will meet on Tuesday, August 22, at PMD camp office, Karachi, to sight the Zil-Hajj crescent in the city

Eid-ul-Azha is a four-day Islamic festival which is observed on the 10th day of Dhul Hijja (Toy al-Hijja).

It is observed to remember the sacrifice Ibrahim (Abraham) was willing to make on the command of Allah, to sacrifice his son.
