After being part of the first two Race films as a playback singer, Atif Aslam is all geared up to sing another romantic song for Race 3. The lyrics of the song have been penned down by none other than the lead actor of the movie Salman Khan and perhaps that is what excites us the most!
This upcoming romantic song will be filmed in Dubai and will be choreographed by the film’s director Remo D’ Souza.
In Race 1, Atif sang the hit number, ‘Pehli Nazar Mein’, whereas, in Race 2, he lent his vocals for two of the most famous songs of the film –‘Beintehaa’ and ‘Allah Duhai Hai’. Looks like the makers insist on having Atif on board for the third installment as well, despite the continued ban on Pakistani artists.
A huge fiasco has been going on since last year when India banned Pakistani artists for working in Bollywood. Few months before, the singer-turned-politician Babul Supriyo opposed when Arijit Singh was replaced with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan to sing ‘Ishtehaar’ in Welcome To New York.
India has to admit that Pakistani artists are arguably loved by its nation and there are no boundaries when it comes to expressing an art. What we need to realize is that this art can be used to bridge the gap between two nations.
The film Race 3 is expected to release on June 15, 2018. The cast includes Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah, Bobby Deol and Saqib Saleem.
