Sydney Sweeney and Patrick Schwarzenegger made headlines after a cute interaction at an event in Las Vegas went viral. Video footage of the exchange made the rounds on social media, garnering attention relative to the event, though it didn’t create news.
The two were spotted at the Palm Tree Beach Club at the MGM Grand on Saturday. Sweeney, recently single after ending her relationship with Jonathan Davino in late 2022, wore a white tank top and denim mini skirt. She mingled with several celebrities, including Machine Gun Kelly. However, everyone’s attention stayed on her light-hearted exchange with Schwarzenegger, who stars in The White Lotus.
Daily Mail reported that Sweeney pointed out food stuck in Schwarzenegger’s teeth. He immediately checked using his phone’s front camera, causing Sweeney to laugh. The moment took off on social media, and shortly after, the two were seen dancing together, fueling more buzz.

Despite their playful interaction, sources confirmed that Sweeney and Schwarzenegger are just friends. Schwarzenegger is engaged to model Abby Champion. The couple has been together for nearly a decade and plans to marry in 2025.
In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Schwarzenegger shared, “When we first met, I was 21, she was 18… Over the years, I just continuously fell more and more in love with her.” He added that growing together has made their relationship stronger.
Outside of his relationship, Schwarzenegger has shown interest in leading a reboot of American Psycho. He called the role his “dream” when a fan asked about it online and responded to news that Luca Guadagnino might direct the project.
