The 19-year-old cricket sensation may be the talk of the town for now but there’s a lot you don’t know about him. Here are all the lesser-known facts about the cricketer changing the game for us:
When Did He Join?
Naseem Shah got shortlisted for a match when he was just 16 years old! His performance as a teenager shocked everybody and since then he has only moved onwards and upwards. Now, as he turns 19 years old, people know they have found a “diamond in the rough.” With his debut, he became the ninth youngest player to make Test cricket.
Naseem shah is to be protected at any cost. A diamond in the rough. Wrap him up in a cotton wool. Manage his workload properly

His Mother’s Death
Naseem Shah is that cricketer who played matches and fulfilled his cricket duties when his mother had just passed away. He was out of the country when his mother passed away. The flight logistics and customs regulations restricted him from coming back in time for his mother’s funeral. He kept on playing in the matches. He credits his mother for his career and was very attached to her, making this event even more tragic.
Not many know that #NaseemShah lost his mother the night before his test debut at 16, he played rather than going home. Watching him play for Pakistan was his mothers dream, sadly she couldn’t witness him in a Pakistan shirt, but yesterday over a billion cricket lovers did 🇵🇰❤️ pic.twitter.com/nUW2N8wRrR
