Grand Theft Auto, or GTA, has been in the gaming industry for many years now. Back when the first one came out, people were quite indulged in it. They could not stop playing it, and were hooked to their systems for hours on end. GTA 5 is a game that was released almost 10 years ago, and its community is as strong as it was when it came out. It is one of the games that never go out of style. Even with the release of Red Dead Redemption 2, the GTA 5 community stood strong.

Of course, we know that there is still time until GTA 6 is released, and we ought to have some other games to occupy our minds with. This is a great time for people to either re-play or play older GTA games for the first time. They are worth the time invested into them and they certainly shine quite bright for long-term fans.

This is a game that can still be considered quite ahead of its time. When GTA 4 came out, it was a huge turning point for the industry. Many of the mechanics of the game are considered quite advanced and fun to experiment with. GTA 4 was the first game to provide realistic physics and ragdoll mechanics to players. You can play this game for hours on end and even check out the spin-off games.

2. GTA Handheld Games

If you are a fan of handheld gaming, then there are a couple of GTA games for you. They provide a good, solid storyline with immersive gameplay. You will not be able to put your handheld down once you boot up these games. The GTA games that were featured on handheld are,

3. Grand Theft Auto 5

Of course, this should be the final GTA game that you play before GTA 6 is out. That way, you are going to enter the sequel with a fresh mind. It has a robust storyline and an immersive setting, all fit with a sandbox where you can do anything. Additionally, you can always log in to the multiplayer section of this game and spend hundreds of hours building yourself up!

4. Grand Theft Auto – San Andreas

While the game itself might be dated a bit, it can still provide you with a lot of fun. The story was quite extraordinary and the world-building felt quite real. Additionally, you can use a ton of mods with the game to excel your experience of it.

Playing these games ought to keep you in the Grand Theft Auto spirit for a while before GTA 6 is out.
