The month of August brings full fledged preparations for the Independence Day of Pakistan which falls on 14th August. Green and white banners and Pakistani flags can be seen across the city. The sense of pride and belonging is surely in the air.
Every year Independence day marks one more public holiday that adults and children alike look forward to. However, we have some bad news, looks like this year’s 14th August is not going to be a holiday for everyone.
The Private Schools Management Association has announced that schools will remain open on Independence Day across Pakistan. Many schools have organized cultural programs in honor to celebrate the auspicious occasion.
