1) Badshahi Mosque – Lahore

Built in 1673 by the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb in Lahore, Pakistan, Badshahi Mosque is one of the oldest Mosques in Pakistan. This mosque has changed a lot during past few years. People from all over the country come to Lahore to see this magnificent piece of architecture.

2) Clock Tower – Faisalabad

Established during the British Raj, this clock tower stands tall and magnificent even today. Although located in the busiest area of Faisalabad, this tower is a majestic example of its own sort.

3) The University of Agriculture – Faisalabad

Established in 1906 as the first major institution of higher agricultural education in the Punjab, this university became the central contributor to the economy of Pakistan. The building, since its establishment, has increased a lot in acres.

4) Empress Market – Karachi

This market was established under the British rule. The building has remained the same since its establishment but is very well maintained.

5) Radio Pakistan – Karachi

Surrounded by grime and noise, this building stands straight since its establishment. But the place famous for the hum of melody then now echoes with the thud of Jackboots as it is now occupied by Pakistan Rangers, Sindh.

6) Javed Manzil – Lahore

Allama Iqbal Museum is a national monument and museum in Lahore, Pakistan. The museum was renovated in 1984.

7) Frere Hall – Karachi

Frere Hall is one of the remnants of the British rule that still exists in Karachi, Pakistan. It is a 151 years old building with a library and a badminton court.

8) Masjid Wazir Khan – Lahore

Renowned for its intricate faience tile work known as kashi-kari, this mosque was established during Mughal rule. The mosque has been under extensive restoration since 2009.

If you were a student of Karachi University 30 years ago, you will be awed by the changes the building of KU has undergone. It spreads on 1,279 acres and is the largest university of Karachi.
