Hogan became the face of wrestling in the 1980s, transforming the sport from a small-scale show into a major entertainment business. His bleach-blond hair and tanned look made him one of the most famous names in sports.

A big moment came during WrestleMania III in 1987 when Hogan lifted Andre the Giant in front of a sold-out Pontiac Silverdome in Michigan for a huge body slam.

His success in wrestling gave him a chance in Hollywood, but his acting career was less successful. He appeared in movies like Rocky III and Santa With Muscles, but always returned to the ring whenever he could. Hogan stayed a wrestling name for decades, even as the sport changed over time.

Many people from wrestling world give tributes to Hulk Hogan here are some of them:

In 2024, Hogan showed his support for Donald Trump at the Republican National Convention. He said he decided to back Trump after seeing his strong reaction to an assassination attempt during the campaign. Hogan shouted to the crowd, “Let Trumpamania run wild, brother! Let Trumpamania rule again!” and ripped off his shirt to show a Trump tank top.

Hogan was born as Terry Gene Bollea in Augusta, Georgia, on August 11, 1953, and later moved with his family to Tampa, Florida. After high school, he played bass in rock bands but later turned to wrestling in the 1970s. Many stories from his career were mixed with fiction, showing the drama in wrestling.

His first trainer reportedly broke his leg to stop him from joining wrestling, but Hogan never gave up. He worked on his strength and admitted later to using steroids to build his “24-inch pythons.” Hogan’s name became a symbol of wrestling, making him a true legend for fans worldwide.
