“Wednesday” Season 2 is finally back…at least partly. Part 1 will premiere on Wednesday, August 6, at 3 a.m. ET/midnight PT on Netflix.
There will be four episodes in Wednesday Season 2, Part 1. There will also be four episodes in the second part, which will be released on September 3, 2025, bringing the Season 2 total to eight. The first season of the series also had eight episodes.
Wednesday Season 2
It’s almost time to step back into the eerie halls of Nevermore Academy with everyone’s favourite Addams. After nearly three years, Wednesday returns to Netflix this week with a two-part release. Read on to find out exactly when Part 1 drops.
Jenna Ortega is back as Wednesday Addams, picking up right where Season 1 left off after she defeated Tyler (Hunter Doohan), the Hyde wreaking havoc on campus, and his normie teacher-turned-mastermind, Laurel (Christina Ricci), who plotted to wipe out the outcasts. Speaking to Tudum, Ortega revealed that Season 2 kicks off with a twist.
Wednesday is kidnapped!
“Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) returns to prowl the Gothic halls of Nevermore Academy, where fresh foes and woes await. This season, Wednesday must navigate family, friends and old adversaries, propelling her into another year of delightfully dark and kooky mayhem,” the synopsis reads.
“Armed with her signature razor-sharp wit and deadpan charm, Wednesday is also plunged into a new bone-chilling supernatural mystery.”
Wednesday Season 2 Cast
“Wednesday” is again led by Jenna Ortega in the titular role. She’s joined by Emma Myers, Hunter Doohan, Joy Sunday, and Georgie Farmer.
Other big names playing members of the Addams Family back again are Luis Guzmán, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Fred Armisen.
Steve Buscemi joins the second season as the leader of the academy.
