In Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on February 11, 2023, TikTok announced its return as the official entertainment partner for HBL PSL 8 following the great success of HBL PSL 7, which attracted more than 2.5 billion views. The most popular entertainment platform in the world has teamed up with the most coveted T20 league to reunite Pakistan’s cricket fans and provide them with a new way to interact with the competition and their favorite players.

The TikTok community will have the chance to interact with and create content on the platform that currently has more than one billion users worldwide during the HBL PSL 8 which will be held in Multan, Karachi, Rawalpindi, and Lahore. On Monday, February 13, the gorgeous Multan Cricket Stadium will host the start of the month-long (34-match) cricket festival, which will conclude with the final on March 19 at the legendary Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

The PCB and TikTok cooperation, now in its second year, has given fans the opportunity to commemorate the tournament’s unforgettable moments online. TikTok has developed into a home for the enthusiasm and passion of the HBL PSL fan base that has been a key factor in the league’s success and growth over the course of the last seven seasons. This includes everything from pre and post-match content and highlights to cricket-related challenges.

With the latest partnership with the HBL PSL 7 generating an astounding 2.5 billion views and 2.3 million video creations on the site, using the hashtag #KhelegaPakistan, this relationship further solidifies TikTok’s position as the ideal platform for cricket fandom in Pakistan. This demonstrates how much Pakistani users enjoy the platform’s cricket material and the excellent content they produce while taking part in entertaining contests. As the platform prepares for an exciting month of amazing content using the hashtags #HoJaJazbaati and #SabSitarayHumaray, the relationship this year promises to be even bigger and better.
